Kyungsoo Reveals There Is No EXO Comeback This Year

Do Kyung Soo (D.O.) has reassured fans of EXO‘s continued strength as a group but says there is no comeback this year!

During a media interview on January 22 at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, ahead of the release of his movie Secret: Untold Melody (directed by Seo Yoo Min), Do Kyung Soo responded to a question about EXO’s future as a complete group. The question referred to only Suho and Chanyeol’s participation in SM Entertainment’s 30th-anniversary concert. Without hesitation, he replied, “Of course! It’s happening soon.”

He added, “We’ll begin preparing for it, and you’ll definitely see us as a complete group. There’s no need to worry.” When asked if this would happen within this year, he clarified, “Not this year, but you’ll see us at the soonest possible time. We’re starting preparations this year after considering everyone’s personal schedules.”

Regarding concerns about the challenges of coordinating activities since the members are under different agencies, Do Kyung Soo explained, “Although we’re under different agencies, everything related to EXO is still handled and managed by SM. There’s no difference, and things will proceed as usual.”

Secret: Untold Melody is a fantasy romance film, a remake of the popular Taiwanese original. It tells the magical story of Yoo Jun (Do Kyung Soo) and Jung Ah (Won Jin Ah) who meet by chance in a campus practice room harboring the secrets of time. The film will premiere on January 27.
