Lee Beom Soo Finalizes Divorce With Former Wife After Two Years Of Separation
Actor Lee Beom Soo and translator Lee Yoon Jin have finalized their divorce by mutual agreement.
Lee Beom Soo’s agency Y1 Entertainment stated on the 6th of February, “Lee Beom Soo and Lee Yoon Jin resolved misunderstandings between them through sufficient discussion, and agreed that moving forward, as the parents of their children, they will respect and support each other from their respective positions,” announcing the news of their divorce.
The agency continued, “During the process of the divorce proceedings, some speculative reports and distorted interpretations that differed from the facts spread, so we would like to correct this,” adding, “Speculative reports related to Lee Beom Soo are not true, and we clearly state that the agreement between the parties was reached amicably,” drawing a line against various rumors.
They added, “We respectfully request that speculation, criticism, and the spread of false information toward Lee Beom Soo, Lee Yoon Jin, and their family cease going forward.”
Lee Beom Soo and Lee Yoon Jin married in May 2010 and have one son and one daughter. They appeared on the KBS2 variety program “The Return of Superman” in 2016. After their breakup in 2023, Lee Yoon Jin appeared on programs such as “Now I’m Alone” and “My Child’s Private Life,” where she shared her daily life and updates from Bali.
Previously, Rumors of their divorce surfaced in December of 2023, causing shock. Lee Yoon Jin posted a cryptic message on social media tagging Lee Beom Soo’s account. At the time, Lee Beom Soo’s agency denied they’re getting a divorce. However, about three months later, Lee Beom Soo’s agency confirmed, “It is true that Lee Beom Soo is currently going through divorce mediation. It is difficult to provide details as it is a personal matter.”
To add to the controversy, Lee Yoon Jin then posted a shocking lengthy note on her Instagram alluding to trouble in her marriage, her struggles with getting a divorce, and more. At the time, his agency denied her accusations and said they’d respond accordingly in court.
