Lee Dong Ha’s Past And Marriage To Sojin Resurface Amid Villain Role In “Agent Kim Reactivated”

Actor Lee Dong Ha is drawing attention for his villain role as “Nam Sil Jang” in SBS drama “Agent Kim Reactivated,” and along with that, his past history and married life are also back in the spotlight.

Lee Dong Ha, who was born in Italy and lived there until age three, once gave up his Italian citizenship to fulfill his mandatory military service in South Korea. In a past interview, he explained, “My parents are Korean, and there was no reason for me to go live in Italy, so I gave it up.”

He also tied the knot in November 2023 with actress Sojin, a former member of girl group Girl’s Day, whom he met while filming the 2021 film “The Grotesque Mansion.” Sojin has recently been sharing her happy daily life on social media, including cheering on her husband, drawing envy from fans.

His performance on the drama has also been heating up. In episode 7 of “Agent Kim Reactivated,” aired on the 17th, Lee Dong Ha delivered a full-on physical showdown with Park Jin Chul (played by Yoon Kyung Ho), showcasing top-tier action acting. Facing off against Park Jin Chul inside a moving truck, he impressed viewers with agile yet intense action sequences.

During the scene, Nam Sil Jang landed a powerful punch to his opponent’s face, but was stunned when Park Jin Chul appeared unfazed by the hit. He then pulled out a knife and unleashed a furious attack, delivering an intense performance that had viewers on the edge of their seats.

Thanks to Lee Dong Ha’s performance, episode 7 of “Agent Kim Reactivated” recorded a peak viewership rating of 25.5% (22.6% in the Seoul metropolitan area, 21.9% nationwide, per Nielsen Korea), setting a new series-best. It also marked its 7th consecutive win in its time slot and held onto its spot as the top-rated miniseries of 2026 — its 2049 rating, a key buzz indicator, climbed to a peak of 8.5%.
