Lee Dong Wook Reveals His Ideal Type For A Wife

Actor Lee Dong wook (44) has revealed his ideal type for a future wife.

On the tvN show “Together, We Shine u2013 ‘Goblin’ 10th Anniversary Trip,” which aired on July 11, the drama’s lead cast members Gong Yoo, Lee Dong wook, Kim Go eun, Yoo In na, Kim Byung chul, Lee IL, and Park Kyung hye were shown taking a trip to Gangneung and having a variety of conversations.

During a “Goblin” best scene quiz segment, a clip played of Eun tak (Kim Go eun) asking Kim Shin (Gong Yoo), “A devoted wife and mother? Sexy? Someone with a professional career?” about his ideal type. The cast then turned the question to Lee Dong wook, asking what he genuinely prefers in real life. Answering “a professional,” Lee Dong wook said, “I’d like it if she had her own job,” adding, “I guess it should be someone who isn’t falling behind, so to speak? Someone who can pour their passion into something would be nice.”

Yoo In na then asked, “So if you had to choose between a woman who has a professional career of her own but doesn’t make a single cent, and a woman who has a lot of money but no career of her own, which would you pick?”

Lee Dong wook answered without hesitation, “It’s fine even without money.” When Yoo In na followed up, “So you’d just keep spending your own money on her,” Lee Dong wook joked back, “That’s fine. I have enough for that.”

Lee Dong wook debuted in 1999 with the MBC drama special “There’s a World Outside the Road.” There has been no reported dating news since his breakup with singer-actress Suzy in 2018. He is currently awaiting the release of Disney+’s “A Shop for Killers” Season 2.
