Famous Actress Announces She’s Pregnant With 2nd Child At 41
Actress Lee Honey (41) is becoming a mother of two.
According to her agency on the 7th of March, Lee Honey is pregnant with her second child. She said, “Since it’s still early, I have to be cautious.” This comes three years after giving birth to her first child in 2022. In 2021, she married a financial industry worker who is two years older than her and had a daughter six months later.
On the 3rd of March, Lee Honey appeared on Channel A’s “Close Friend Documentary: Four-Person Table.” When actress Kang Boo Ja suggested she have a second child, she cautiously responded, “Because of my age…”
Recently, Lee Honey was hit with tax evasion allegations. The Seoul Regional Tax Office conducted a tax investigation on Lee Honey and Hope Project [her agency] in September last year, imposing an additional tax of about 6 billion won [4,139,788]. Team Hope stated, “It was an additional tax due to differences in perspective between the tax authorities and our tax representatives, and we have fully paid it. It has nothing to do with intentional tax evasion.” However, the amount imposed is the highest, even compared to past cases involving actors like Song Hye Kyo, Jun Ji Hyun, Kwon Sang Woo, and Park Hee Soon.
Suspicion regarding real estate purchase funds also surfaced. A netizen filed a complaint through the National Petition Board, and the Seoul Gangnam Police are currently investigating allegations of tax evasion, embezzlement, and breach of trust (aggravated punishment for specific economic crimes) against Lee Honey.
