Famous Hallyu Actor Cancels Fan Meeting In The Philippines In Light Of Ongoing Situation

Actor Lee Jong Suk’s fan meeting in the Philippines has been canceled.

Agency A-Man Project said through their official SNS account, “The ‘2025 Lee Jong Suk Asia Fanmeeting Tour “With: Just Like This” in Manila’, which was scheduled to be held on the coming 30th at Manila Araneta Coliseum, has been canceled due to unexpected circumstances.”

This decision reflects the local situation. Currently, in the capital of the Philippines, Manila, large-scale protests condemning corruption allegations in the government’s flood control project are continuing. The agency side explained, “Due to the rally scheduled on the same date, we ask for deep understanding as this decision was made after careful review while prioritizing the safety of fans, the artist, and all staff.”

They also added, “We deeply apologize to all fans who were looking forward to this fan meeting, and we ask for understanding for the inconvenience caused by this cancellation,” and “We sincerely hope that Lee Jong Suk will be able to visit Philippine fans once again in the near future.”

Meanwhile, Lee Jong Suk is currently proceeding with an Asia fan meeting tour in a total of 7 cities including Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka, Taipei, Bangkok, and Hong Kong.
