Lee Jung Ha Surprises With Military Enlistment Plans, Unable To Participate In Disney+ “Moving” Season 2
Actor Lee Jung Ha (27, legal name Lee Kwan Min), who rose to major popularity through the Disney Plus K-series “Moving,” will temporarily pause acting to fulfill his mandatory military service.
According to Lee Jung Ha’s agency on the 3rd of December, he recently applied to the Marine Corps and will enlist in the Marine Corps on January 26, 2026. He strongly wished to join the Marines, and after faithfully serving for 18 months, he will meet fans again on July 25, 2027.
His agency Namoo Actors stated, “After applying to the Marine Corps, Lee Jung Ha recently received his acceptance notice, and on January 26 he will enter the Marine Corps training center to fulfill his military duty,” and added, “On the day of enlistment, since it is a time where many soldiers and families gather, there will be no separate official event.”
They continued, “We deeply thank everyone for the unchanging love you send to Lee Jung Ha, and we ask for warm support until the day he returns, having grown even more after completing his sincere service.”
Lee Jung Ha debuted in 2017 through the web drama “Heartbeat Warning” and became known through the dramas “Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung,” “Run On,” and “Nevertheless.” In 2023, he rose to stardom as Kim Bong Seok in Disney+ “Moving,” sweeping rookie awards at the Blue Dragon Series Awards and the Baeksang Arts Awards. Due to his enlistment, he will not be able to participate in the production of “Moving” Season 2 next year.
Lee Jung Ha is currently appearing in the ENA drama “Heroes Next Door.”
