Famous “Sweet Home” Actress Is Getting A Divorce After 8 Years Of Marriage
Actress Lee Si Young has decided to divorce after eight years of marriage.
On the 17th of March, Lee Si Young’s agency, Ace Factory, stated to YTN, “They have mutually agreed to divorce and are currently in the process. As this is a private matter for the actress, we ask for your understanding that we cannot provide further details.”
The news of Lee Si Young’s divorce after eight years was first reported exclusively by YTN. She and her husband, restaurant entrepreneur Mr. Cho, submitted documents to the Seoul Family Court earlier this year. While the divorce itself has been agreed upon, they are reportedly still finalizing some details.
Lee Si Young married businessman Cho, who is nine years her senior, in 2017 while she was at the peak of her acting career. At the time, Cho gained attention for his growing restaurant business, earning the nickname “Little Baek Jong Won.” The marriage became a hot topic, and the following year, Lee Si Young gave birth to their son.
Since then, Lee Si Young has actively shared her happy family life with fans on social media, making the news of her divorce even more heartbreaking. Recently, she also drew attention for enrolling her son in an international school in Songdo, Incheon, showcasing her dedication as both an actress and a mother.
