Despite being the biggest Kpop company, HYBE was not able to get their hands on this rising actor!

During a recent appearance on “Knowing Bros,” Lee Won Jeong, a rising actor from the latest Netflix hit “Hierarchy,” revealed he was contacted by HYBE 7 to 8 times, but each time, he refused their offer.

Lee Won Jeong shocked the entire cast and guests on the show with this revelation. He explained that he was contacted by HYBE 7 to 8 times to become a trainee but he rejected their offers because he wanted to be an actor, not an idol.

When initially contacted, Lee Won Jeong asked HYBE about whether they had an acting department since their sub-labels focused mostly on kpop idols, but apparently there weren’t any.

Since Lee Won Jeong had hopes of becoming an actor one day, he persisted with his goal and worked hard towards it. He refused the offers even though many would jump at the chance to train in one of the biggest Kpop agencies in South Korea.
