Moon Ga Young Joins Former Co-Star Cha Eun Woo’s Agency

Moon Ga Young has announced a new start after signing an exclusive contract with Fantagio.

On July 3rd, agency Fantagio shared the news of the contract, saying, “We have come to work together with actress Moon Ga Young.”

Fantagio added, “We are very pleased to sign an exclusive contract with actress Moon Ga Young, who has limitless potential,” and “We plan to provide full support so that Moon Ga Young’s versatile talent and charm can shine even brighter across various fields.”

Moon Ga Young signed an exclusive contract with PeakJ Entertainment in 2024 and left the company without renewing, moving to a new agency two years later.

Born in 1996, Moon Ga Young made her debut as a child actress in the 2006 film “Bloody Reunion,” starting her acting career at age 10. She went on to appear in the dramas “Wang’s Family” and “Jealousy Incarnate” before landing her first terrestrial lead role in 2018’s “The Great Seducer.”

In 2020, she starred opposite Cha Eun Woo in tvN’s “True Beauty,” earning major love from fans at home and abroad. She has since proven a genre-spanning acting range through “The Interest of Love,” “Delightfully Deceitful,” “My Dearest Nemesis,” and “Law and the City.”

Her film “Once We Were Us,” released last December, earned her the Best Actress award in film at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards, and became the highest-grossing melodrama in seven years.

For her next project, she’s set to star as Heo Su A in tvN’s “Whale Star: The Gyeongseong Mermaid,” a drama set against the backdrop of anti-Japanese resistance during the colonial era, premiering in 2027.

Fantagio’s roster also includes Cha Eun Woo, Kim Seon Ho, Lee Sung Kyung, Lee Se Young, Ong Seong Wu, and Lee Chang Sub.
