Popular Actor Reposts An 18+ Post To Instagram, Agency Issues Explanation + He Apologizes
Actor Nam Yoonsu shared an R-rated post on his social media, which drew heavy criticism, prompting him to personally address the situation with his fans.
On the 13th of April, a post that visualized a woman’s private parts using balloons was re-posted on Nam Yoonsu’s SNS account but was deleted just a few minutes later. The video had been uploaded without any censorship.
In response, Nam Yoonsu communicated with fans via a fan platform and shared a photo taken from the driver’s seat, saying, “I was driving and suddenly saw the repost. Was I hacked?”
He added, “Something weird was uploaded and fans notified me. Whew. It must be the algorithm or something. I need to check if I was hacked. I didn’t even know it was clicked,” emphasizing once again that he did not share the post intentionally.
His agency also told OSEN, “We checked his SNS after receiving reports from fans. Nam Yoonsu was driving at the time, and the phone was in his pocket. Yoonsu quickly checked and immediately deleted the post. It seems he didn’t even know what had been uploaded.”
Nam Yoonsu again apologized through his SNS, saying, “I found out late that an unpleasant post had been re-shared without me knowing today. I feel upset and sincerely apologize to everyone who was made uncomfortable. I’ll be more cautious going forward.”
Meanwhile, Nam Yoonsu began his career as a model in 2014 and started acting in 2018. He gained recognition through Netflix’s Extracurricular, and has since appeared in Birthcare Center, The King’s Affection, and Love in the Big City. In June of last year, it was revealed that he had donated a kidney to his father, who was suffering from end-stage renal disease, drawing significant attention.
