Famous Idol-Turned Actress Rumored To Be Dating Model Who Is Six Years Her Junior, Agencies Respond
Rumors have surfaced suggesting that Idol-Turned Actress Nana (Im Jin Ah, 33) and model Chae Jong Seok (27) are in a romantic relationship.
The speculation arose after their passionate and intimate performances in Baek Ji Young’s music video “Geurae Maja” from her latest album Ordinary Grace. The two portrayed lovers, delivering high-intensity romance, including bed and kiss scenes, which added fuel to the rumors.
It’s been reported that Nana personally recommended Chae Jong Seok for the male lead in the music video. In an interview, Baek Ji Young revealed Nana’s involvement in the casting, mentioning that the director was impressed by Chae Jong Seok’s compatibility with Nana and unique presence. Allegedly, the two were already a couple before the music video was filmed, blending their real-life chemistry into the narrative.
Further speculation stems from their shared trip to Bali, Indonesia, in June, where social media posts from both fueled the “lovestagram” claims. Although Nana later deleted these posts after fans identified them as evidence of their relationship, the rumors persisted. The duo also attended a brand event together in October, which added to the claims of their professional and personal ties.
Despite these hints, both Sublime (Nana’s agency) and Esteem (Chae Jong Seok’s agency) have refrained from confirming or denying the relationship, citing privacy concerns. Nana’s agency SUBLIME briefly commented, “It is difficult to confirm as this pertains to the actress’s private life. We ask for your understanding.” Similarly, a representative from ESteem, Chae Jong Seok’s agency, stated, “It is hard to comment on matters related to the model’s private life. We ask for your understanding.”
Nana, originally from After School, has transitioned into a successful acting career with roles in dramas like The Good Wife and Mask Girl. Chae Jong Seok, six years her junior, gained attention last year due to rumors linking him to actress Han So Hee.
