Popular Actress Explains Why She Hasn’t Gotten Married To Boyfriend Of 25 Years

Oh Na Ra revealed why she has not married her boyfriend, Kim Do Hoon, despite being together for 25 years.

Recently, actors Park Young Gyu, Oh Na Ra, and So Yoo Jin appeared as guests on the YouTube channel Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong Yeob to promote the new KBS2 sitcom Villain’s Nation.

During the conversation, Oh Na Ra shared how she first met her boyfriend, prompting Park Young Gyu to ask, “Is your husband also a musical actor?” She quickly corrected him, saying, “He’s not my husband, he’s my boyfriend. We’re not married yet.”

When Park Young Gyu followed up by asking, “So, you’re just living together without registering your marriage?” Oh Na Ra refuted any cohabitation rumors, saying, “What do you mean, ‘living together’? You’re trying to send me off somewhere.” Park Young Gyu then clarified, “I didn’t mean you live in the same space; I just meant you’re both living and breathing together.”

Explaining why she hasn’t gotten married, Oh Na Ra said, “It’s not that we deliberately decided not to. We’ve just been really busy.”

She also shared the story of how they started dating, which excited Shin Dong Yeob. “We met at a gathering after a musical performance. I drank too much and ended up throwing up outside. My boyfriend patted my back, and in that moment, I fell for him. So, with my mouth that had just thrown up, I kissed him. Since we started dating while drunk, I stopped drinking like that afterward.”

Oh Na Ra also revealed that she learned to drink properly during the filming of My Mister, where frequent cast gatherings helped her develop a taste for alcohol. “I never liked the taste of alcohol before, but I realized I could drink well. My face doesn’t even change color, and I can drink up to 4,000cc of beer.”
