Actor On Joo Wan Apologizes To Fans Surprised By His Sudden Marriage News, Talks Feelings About Getting Married To Bang Minah

Actor On Joo Wan has personally shared his thoughts on his upcoming marriage to Bang Minah, a member of Girl’s Day.

On July 4, On Joo Wan posted a heartfelt message on his personal social media, writing, “To the fans and acquaintances who may have been surprised by the sudden news, I ask for your understanding,” directly addressing the reports of his marriage to Bang Minah made earlier that day.

He continued, “Please understand that I wasn’t able to share the news in person. I sincerely thank everyone who sent me congratulatory messages. I will cherish your kind words, hold them close, and treat them with care and appreciation.”

He also expressed gratitude toward his fans, writing, “To my beloved fans who sent their warm congratulations—wherever we meet, let’s smile brightly and chat as always. Thank you so much, you know that, right?”

He then turned to Minah’s fans, saying, “I will cherish her dearly and protect her by her side so that not even a scratch comes to her. Knowing just how much strength you give her, I ask that you continue to love and support her just as you always have.”

Most notably, he added, “Before being a good actor, I will strive to always be a good person, and walk this path well together,” hinting at their shared journey both in life and as fellow artists after marriage.

According to both agencies, On Joo Wan and Bang Minah will be getting married this November. The wedding will be held privately with only close family and acquaintances present. The couple first met in 2016 through the SBS drama “Beautiful Gong Shim,” then reunited in 2021 in the musical “The Days,” where they reportedly became close and began dating.
