Park Bo Gum expressed his thoughts on the upcoming release of the movie ‘Wonderland’ during a press interview!

‘Wonderland’, which will be released on June 5th, tells the story of reuniting with loved ones through the video call service ‘Wonderland’, which restores deceased individuals using artificial intelligence.

In ‘Wonderland’, Park Bo Gum portrays two roles, as the AI restoration of an astronaut named Tae Joo and the real Tae Joo who wakes up from a coma. He also forms a stewardess couple with Suzy, who plays the role of Jung In.

‘Wonderland’ marks Park Bo Gum’s official return to the screen after his enlistment in the Navy in 2020 and subsequent discharge in 2022.

Park Bo Gum stated, “I wanted to show my face quickly after my discharge, but it was a time of many concerns. I took the time to think carefully and reflect on myself. After my discharge, I ended up appearing in the drama When Life Gives You Tangerines, which involved a long filming process, so I couldn’t come out quickly. From this year on, I think I will be able to show my face more often.”

He also shared, “After my discharge, I heard people around me saying, ‘Why aren’t you on TV these days?’ Even if I’m not on TV, I lived a busy life.” Park Bo Gum mentioned that he was busy attending graduate school and writing his thesis, proudly mentioning his Master’s degree.

Overall, Park Bo Gum expressed his high expectations for the future.
