Park Bo Gum Personally Addresses Complaints Of His Lack Of Screentime In “When Life Gives You Tangerines”
Actor Park Bo Gum shared his honest thoughts on his screen time in “When Life Gives You Tangerines.”
On the morning of the 24th of March, an interview with Park Bo Gum for the Netflix series “When Life Gives You Tangerines” was held.
The drama tells the adventurous life story of the rebellious yet spirited Ae Soon (played by IU) and the devoted Mu Su steelworker Gwan Sik (played by Park Bo Gum), unfolding across the four seasons in Jeju.
Park Bo Gum plays Yang Gwan Sik, who is deeply devoted to Ae Soon. While his unwavering love left a strong impression, many viewers found it disappointing that he appeared less frequently after the first act.
Regarding this, Park Bo Gum stated, “I knew my screen time would be limited before filming began. But I’m grateful that people love and miss Gwan Sik so much.”
He continued, “After reading the writer’s script, I felt that just being part of this project was meaningful for my filmography. I believe that not only me but all the actors in this drama are protagonists in their own right. I hope this drama will remain in people’s hearts and bloom like a beautiful flower until the very end.”
Meanwhile, the fourth and final act of “When Life Gives You Tangerines” is set to be released on the 28th of March.
