Actors Park Eun Bin, Kim Hyo Jin, Chae Jong Hyeop, Cha Hak Yeon, and Kim Joo Heon are set to shine in a captivating story as they meet viewers in this upcoming tvN drama.

tvN’s new drama “Diva of the Desert Island” announced its casting on June 5 and fans are already excited about the upcoming drama.

“Diva of the Desert Island” is a humanistic emotional drama that depicts the journey of Seo Mok-ha, an aspiring singer who was rescued from a desert island after 15 years.

Park Eun Bin will take on the role of Seo Mok-ha. She is a character who survived alone on the deserted island for 15 long years. Despite the hardships of the world, she gains a more precious understanding and steps out into the world.

Kim Hyo Jin will portray the diva Yoon Ran-joo. She was once a successful singer but is currently in a less fortunate situation. She meets Seo Mok-ha, a “genuine” fan who comes from the desert island, and attempts to transform her life.

Chae Jong Hyeop will play the role of YGN Entertainment Department PD Kang Bo-geol. He has a quiet and calm temperament. He connects with Seo Mok-ha after she’s rescued.

Cha Hak Yeon will showcase his acting as Kang Bo-geol’s brother and YGN News Social Affairs Department reporter Kang Woo-hak. He is a man of relentless curiosity and exceptional affection for his family.

Lastly, Kim Joo Heon will exude a solid presence as the CEO of an entertainment agency, Lee Seo-joon. He is an elite figure with impeccable academic background, character, and manners.

Meanwhile, “Diva of the Desert Island” is a collaboration once again between writer Park Hye Ryeon and director Oh Chung Hwan, who previously worked together on dramas like “While You Were Sleeping” and “Start-Up.”
