The Famous “Squid Game 2” Actress Who Might Have Just Spoiled A Major Event From 3rd Season + Agency Comments
Actress Park Gyu Young has been accused of leaking details about Netflix’s Squid Game Season 3 after the picture she shared went viral!
On January 7, Park Gyu Young shared photos from the filming set of the Squid Game series on her social media. The images featured her wearing the iconic pink guard uniform while taking a break. The controversy arose due to another actor seen sitting in the background, also dressed in a pink guard uniform. Speculations quickly surfaced online that the actor in question was a key cast member from Season 2, potentially revealing a massive spoiler and connection to the new storyline.
This incident follows Park Gyu Young’s recent interview on January 3, where she consistently refrained from answering questions about her character or the plot, citing concerns about spoilers for Season 3. After the backlash, she promptly deleted the photos. However, the images had already spread across online communities and social media, with many netizens criticizing her, saying, “She was worried about spoilers but ended up leaking it herself.”

Regarding this, Park Gyu Young’s agency Saram Entertainment said in a brief statement, “Please confirm the details through Season 3.”
Its known that Netflix takes spoilers very seriously and actors who might end spoiling events from their dramas are subject to fines.
Squid Game Season 2, released on November 26, centers around Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the game seeking revenge, and his intense showdown with the Front Man (played by Lee Byung Hun). Park Gyu Young plays No Eul, a North Korean defector turned pink guard.
Squid Game Season 3 is slated for release in the summer of this year.
