The Popular Korean Actor Reportedly Joining Jang Nara In Leading “Good Partner” Season 2
Actor Park Hae Jin is drawing industry attention as he emerges as a candidate to appear in season 2 of the SBS drama “Good Partner.”
On the 2nd of December, his agency Artist Company said, “Park Hae Jin has received an offer to appear in the new SBS drama ‘Good Partner 2’ and is reviewing it,” leaving open the possibility.
As his return to the small screen is being anticipated after a long time, discussions about the season 2 casting are becoming active, and whether he will join has become a hot topic.
“Good Partner” is a human legal office drama that unfolds around divorce-specialist lawyers. In season 1, Jang Nara played star lawyer Cha Eun Kyung, and Nam Ji Hyun played rookie lawyer Han Yoo Ri, showing chemistry.
In particular, the realistic depictions of cases and the solid character narratives drew viewers’ sympathy, and during its broadcast it recorded a highest rating of 17.7%, establishing itself as a talked-about work.
Jang Nara further solidified the drama’s presence by winning the Grand Prize at the SBS Drama Awards based on her performance in season 1.
With news that preparation for season 2 has begun, expectations for the new casting lineup are rising.
Recently, it was reported that Kim Hye Yoon received an offer to appear in the new season led by Jang Nara and is reviewing it, and following that, Park Hae Jin’s name being mentioned has further heated up interest in the season 2 lineup.
If Park Hae Jin’s appearance becomes confirmed, it will mark his return to drama for the first time in two years since the 2023 drama “The Killing Vote.”
Meanwhile, SBS “Good Partner 2” is known to be entering full production with the goal of broadcasting in the second half of next year.
