Park Hae Soo Reveals he’s Expecting his 2nd Child In His Winning Speech at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards

Actor Park Hae Soo won Best Actor at the Blue Dragon Series Awards.

On July 31, Park Hae Soo received the Best Actor award for “The Scarecrow” at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, held at Paradise City in Yeongjong-gu, Incheon.

The other nominees for Best Actor that day were Kim Seon Ho (“Can This Love Be Translated?”), Kim Woo Bin (“Genie, Make a Wish”), Park Ji Hoon (“The Legend of Kitchen Soldier”), Park Hae Soo (“The Scarecrow”), and Hyun Bin (“Made in Korea”).

Park Hae Soo began, “Hearing my name called just now made me tear up. I’m truly grateful. I’m thankful to be standing here in front of actors and variety show seniors that I really love and respect.”

He continued, “While working on this project, I tried to grow not just as an actor but as a more mature person. I had the honor of working with truly great actors, and there’s nothing that makes life feel more worth living than that,” and went on to name each of his fellow cast members individually.

He went on, “There’s someone I want to thank above all. He isn’t here today, but I want to express my gratitude to actor Lee Hee Joon, who I consider the greatest actor in my heart,” bowing his head.

Finally, Park Hae Soo smiled and said, “Lastly, our second child is due to be born next month. Our son feels like a blessing, and he always seems to bring me good fortune. My beloved wife is probably even more nervous than me right now watching from home — I love her. I love my wife so much for always reassuring me whenever I feel anxious or nervous. Daddy won an award. I love you too, our second blessing.”
