Actors Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook found themselves in the spotlight after a four-cut photo showing them kissing, allegedly from the upcoming tvN drama My Dearest Nemesis, was leaked, sparking public curiosity about its authenticity.

On January 15, the production team of My Dearest Nemesis clarified to the media, “The four-cut photo of Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook was not officially released by us. It was posted by another company. The photos were indeed leaked, and they are part of the drama’s content.”

The controversy arose when a netizen shared on social media, “I saw Moon Ga Young and Choi Hyun Wook’s four-cut photo from My Dearest Nemesis ! How can they be this cute? Their chemistry is incredible. I can’t wait!” The post was accompanied by the leaked photos and a drama poster.

The photo showed the two actors in matching couple outfits, sharing a kiss, leading to debates on whether it was part of the drama’s promotional material or a private photo. However, it was later confirmed that the pictures were leaked by a photo booth company, leaving the drama’s production team surprised.

Set to premiere on February 17, My Dearest Nemesis tells the story of Baek Soo Jung, a “division head killer” team leader haunted by embarrassing past moments, and Ban Joo Yeon, a third-generation chaebol harboring a “dark flame dragon” in his heart.

Based on the popular Naver webtoon by Hyejin Yang, the drama is helmed by director Lee Soo Hyun of Delightfully Deceitful fame, alongside writer Kim Soo Yeon. With a strong cast lineup including Moon Ga Young, Choi Hyun Wook, Im Se Mi, and Kwak Si Yang, the drama is already generating significant anticipation.
