Ryu Jun Yeol Joins One Of The Most Prestigious Agencies, The Agency Home To Song Hye Kyo And More
Actor Ryu Jun Yeol has signed an exclusive contract with UAA (United Artist Agency), the agency home to Song Hye Kyo.
On June 25, UAA announced, “Ryu Jun Yeol has joined the UAA family. He is a one-of-a-kind actor with outstanding acting skills and a distinct style. We will do our utmost to support him so he can fully showcase his talent and soar even higher as an actor.”
Ryu Jun Yeol first made a strong impression in the 2015 film Socialphobia, and rose to fame later that year through the hit tvN drama Reply 1988. He received praise for his deep, emotional acting and his signature low-pitched voice. Since then, he has actively worked across various genres.
In 2017, Ryu starred in The King and later became a “10-million-viewer actor” through A Taxi Driver, which drew over 12.18 million viewers. He continued to solidify his position with films such as Little Forest, Believer, Money, The Battle: Roar to Victory, Alienoid, and The Night Owl.
Most recently, he received critical acclaim for his intense performance in the Netflix series The 8 Show, praised for its gripping immersion.
Meanwhile, UAA represents a lineup of top actors including Song Hye Kyo, Yoo Ah In, Kim Da Mi, Kim Dae Myung, Ahn Eun Jin, and Jang Ki Yong.
