Famous Korean Actress Discovers One Of Her Former Staff Wrote Hate Comments While Suing Netizens For Defamation

An unexpected person was behind the malicious comments and the spread of false information about actress Seo Ye Ji. It was revealed that the perpetrator was none other than a former staff member who had worked with her in the past.

Seo Ye Ji’s agency, Sublime, stated in an official statement recently, “A former staff member who spread malicious rumors about Seo Ye Ji has been sent to the prosecution on charges of defamation.” The individual in question was one of the approximately 130 people included in the complaint Seo Ye Ji’s side submitted to Gangnam Police Station this past January, and their identity was revealed during the investigation process.

Sublime emphasized, “Those whose identities have been confirmed, including the former staff member, are being sent to the prosecution, and the remaining accused individuals will also be tracked down to the end so they can be legally punished.”

In particular, the agency stated, “There will be no leniency or settlements. We will continue to monitor and respond strongly to any criminal acts directed at our artist in the future.”

Since 2021, Seo Ye Ji has been plagued by various rumors, including ‘gaslighting’ allegations that arose from her relationship with actor Kim Jung Hyun, as well as school violence and academic background falsification claims. Recently, she directly addressed rumors of a romantic relationship with her former agency CEO, Lee Sarang, who is actor Kim Soo Hyun’s maternal cousin, and drew the line against the speculation.
