Girls’ Generation Member Leaves Agency After Less Than A Year, Signs With This One Instead
Girls Generation’s Seohyun has parted ways with LEAD Entertainment and has joined a new agency!
In April, singer-actress Seohyun parted ways with her former agency Namoo Actors, and she signed an exclusive contract with LEAD Entertainment in May of 2025.
On December 9, agency KKUM ENT revealed they have signed a contract with Seohyun. LEAD Entertainment was established in 2021 by veteran manager Kim Sun Woo, formerly of BH Entertainment.
On the 9th of December, KKUM ENT stated, “Actress Seohyun, who has been loved as a ‘trustworthy actress’ through her diverse filmography, has signed an exclusive contract with us.” Seohyun is expected to continue various activities with KKUM ENT, backed by her solid acting ability and wide global fandom.
Seohyun debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation and began acting through the 2013 SBS drama “Passionate Love.” She has since showcased stable acting performances in various works such as SBS’s “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” MBC’s “Bad Thief, Good Thief,” MBC’s “Time,” JTBC’s “Private Lives,” and Netflix’s “Song of the Bandits.” She has also expanded her acting spectrum through OTT and film projects, including Netflix’s “Love and Leashes,” and the films “Holy Night: Demon Hunters” and “Believe.”
KKUM ENT stated, “Seohyun is an actress who possesses solid fundamentals, a sincere attitude toward her work, and genuine passion for acting. We will carefully support her next steps so she can continue moving forward firmly.”
Meanwhile, Seohyun is set to meet audiences through the film “In Search of the King,” scheduled for theater release in 2026.
