Popular Actress Opens Up About Having To Skip Work Due To A Severe Panic Disorder Episode
Actress Seol In Ah has candidly revealed that she once had to skip work due to a severe panic disorder episode.
Recently, actors Jung Kyung Ho, Cha Hak Yeon, and Seol In Ah featured on the YouTube channel “Cheonggyesan Daengie Records.” The actors starr in the upcoming MBC drama “Oh My Ghost Clients.”
During the conversation, Jo Jung Suk asked if the cast members had met before working on the drama. Seol In Ah responded, “Turns out I had met Cha Hak Yeon twice before.”
Seol, who once worked as an MC and reporter for MBC’s “Section TV Entertainment News,” recalled, “Back then, my panic disorder was really bad. I was supposed to go out for an interview, but I collapsed before even opening the door because of a panic attack.”
She went on to share, “The team asked around if anyone at the event could step in for me—and Cha Hak Yeon did. He conducted the interview in my place.”
Cha Hak Yeon added, “I was on my way to watch a movie when I was pulled in and ended up sitting there doing the interview.” Jo Jung Suk responded with applause, saying, “That deserves a round of applause!”
Cha Hak Yeon also shared a fun connection he just realized: “Seol and I never met directly that day since she went to the hospital, but today I found out something new. I was on a variety show where I did makeup for guests—and apparently I did Seol In Ah’s makeup. I didn’t remember it at first, but it came back to me on the way here.”
The trio star in “Oh My Ghost Clients,” a comic fantasy drama about a labor attorney who can see ghosts and solves labor-related cases. It marks the drama directorial debut of filmmaker Im Soon Rye, known for “Forever the Moment” and “The Point Men.” The script was co-written by “D.P.” webtoon creator Kim Bo Tong and “I Can Speak” screenwriter Yoo Seung Hee.
