Beloved Actors’ Couple Surprise With Divorce Announcement 3 Years After Marriage
Actors Shin Go Eun and Yoon Jong Hwa have ended their marriage after three years.
Shin Go Eun shared the surprising news via her official Instagram on May 1st. She wrote, “I’ve been thinking for a long time about whether I should write this or not. There are many who are curious, and I think I need to share this part of my life for the future, so I’m posting a short message.”
Officially confirming her divorce from Yoon Jong Hwa by stating, “It’s been nearly half a year since we ended our three years of marriage and began living separate lives,” Shin Go Eun shared, “Our values and personalities were very different, and though we made many efforts, it didn’t work out.”
She continued, “From now on, both of us have decided to do our best and live diligently in our own respective places,” and expressed, “I feel deeply sorry to those who showed us interest and gave us their blessings, for delivering this kind of news.”
Shin Go Eun and Yoon Jong Hwa met while filming the MBC daily drama “Bad Love” which ended in 2020. They became a couple after the drama ended and tied the knot in May 2021 after one year of dating.
