Shin Se Kyung Leaves IU’s Agency, Whats Next For The Actress?
Shin Se Kyung has terminated her exclusive contract with her agency, EDAM Entertainment.
On the 3rd of July, EDAM Entertainment announced, “After sufficient discussions and conversations, our company has decided to end the management contract with actress Shin Se Kyung effective July 4, 2024. We express our gratitude to Shin Se Kyung, with whom we have traveled together based on mutual trust. We will cherish every moment we spent with actress Shin Se Kyung. We also ask for a lot of interest and warm support for her future endeavors. Our company will sincerely support Shin Se Kyung s activities and future.”
Shin Se Kyung had been with Namoo Actors for 19 years before signing with IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment in 2021.
Shin Se Kyung debuted as a poster model for Seo Taiji’s album in 1998 and has appeared in various films and dramas across the years. Her latest drama was the early 2024 “Captivating The King.”
Many fans are looking forward to the next chapter of Shin Se Kyung’s career and wish for her to find a label that will promote her more actively.
