So Ji Sub to Join Cast and Crew on Reward Trip to Guam After “Agent Kim Reactivated” Wrap

Actor So Ji Sub, who led “Agent Kim Reactivated” to success, gave gold to the cast and crew who worked alongside him — and now the whole team is heading off together on a reward trip.

According to Star News reporting on July 27, So Ji Sub will travel to Guam in mid-August with the full cast and crew of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Agent Kim Reactivated” for a reward vacation.

So Ji Sub, who led the drama to success in the title role, plans to spend time recharging in Guam alongside everyone who worked on the project with him. Back in 2013, when SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Master’s Sun” was a hit, he skipped the reward trip due to personal scheduling — but this time, he’s joining. He’s expected to take part after wrapping up post-wrap commitments like press interviews.

An SBS official told Star News on July 23, “The cast members from ‘Agent Kim Reactivated’ and key production staff are coordinating their schedules for a team trip together.” The mood on set was reportedly just as warm as the drama’s high ratings. Most of the main cast attended the wrap party held on July 25, watching the final broadcast together and celebrating the show’s success. So Ji Sub added to the warmth after it was revealed he’d gifted gold to the cast and crew who worked hard alongside him.

Yoon Kyung Ho, another key cast member of “Agent Kim Reactivated,” will also join the reward trip. Yoon Kyung Ho played Park Jin Chul opposite So Ji Sub’s title character and shared strong on-screen chemistry with him. Despite a packed filming schedule for upcoming projects in the second half of the year, he’s making time to join. Choi Dae Chul, who played Sung Han Su and is currently filming ENA’s new drama “Tempting Romance,” is coordinating his schedule to join the trip as well.

Meanwhile, “Agent Kim Reactivated” follows the world’s most ordinary father as he becomes the world’s most dangerous man to win back his only daughter, in a revenge-action drama. Alongside So Ji Sub, the cast included Choi Dae Hoon, Yoon Kyung Ho, Joo Sang Wook, Son Na Eun, and Kim Sung Kyu.

“Agent Kim Reactivated” wrapped with a final Nielsen Korea nationwide household rating of 23%. The drama crossed 20% by its fourth episode and hit a series-high 23.1% in episode 8 — the second-highest rating ever for an SBS Friday-Saturday drama.

Having wrapped its 10-episode run on July 25, “Agent Kim Reactivated” will return to viewers with two special broadcasts on July 31 and August 1.
