Famous Korean Actor Reveals He’s 1000% Satisfied With His Marriage
Actor So Ji Sub expressed deep satisfaction with his married life.
On June 6, a video was uploaded to Netflix Korea’s official YouTube channel. So Ji Sub and Jo Han-chul, the leads of the Netflix series Mercy for None, appeared in the video and had a lighthearted conversation with hosts Jonathan and Yoo Byung-jae under the theme of a film club.
During the video, So Ji Sub talked about his past experience as a rapper, saying, “Recently, my office mate Taecyeon made a song. So Taecyeon, me, and (Cha) Hak-yeon performed in Japan under the name ‘SoOkCha.’”
When Yoo Byung-jae asked, “I’ve always wondered when and how So Ji Sub fell in love with rap,” So Ji Sub opened up about his sincere feelings for his fans.
He said, “I started rapping because I liked it. But honestly, I’m tone-deaf. I started making songs because I wanted to sing when I met fans. Even though I’m not good at it, I wanted to sing in front of them. I only come up with new songs when I have events to meet fans.”
In response to a question about marriage, So Ji Sub expressed his immense satisfaction, saying, “I highly recommend it. Being together is better than being alone,” showing open affection toward his wife, Jo Eun-jung.

So Ji Sub married Jo Eun-jung, a former TV reporter 17 years his junior, in 2020. He recently returned to TV with the new Netflix series “Mercy For None.”
