Son Dam Bi Apologizes Over Bubble Play Controversy At Family Accommodation

Singer-actress Son Dam Bi apologized on July 7th over controversy surrounding a bubble-blowing session at her family’s accommodation.

She said, “Hae Yi had a cough so she wasn’t able to enjoy it much, which was a shame, but playing with bubbles indoors with my child at the accommodation was my carelessness.”

She added, “We cleaned everything thoroughly after playing, but going forward I’ll be more careful and make sure something like this doesn’t happen again.”

Earlier, Son Dam Bi had shared a video of herself and her daughter Hae Yi playing with bubbles indoors at the accommodation during a family trip.

Afterward, some netizens raised concerns about the accommodation’s management and cleanliness, criticizing the situation, and the controversy continued.

In response, Son Dam Bi explained, “Many of you are worried about the bubble play, but I wiped down the entire floor with a towel.”

However, as the controversy didn’t die down easily, she appears to have issued another apology as a result.

Meanwhile, Son Dam Bi married former speed skater Lee Kyu Hyuk in May 2022. The couple drew attention for appearing on the SBS variety program “Dongsangimong 2 – You Are My Destiny.”

Son Dam Bi welcomed her first daughter on April 11th of last year.
