Famous Actor Cancels Upcoming Scheduled Activities After The Passing Of His Mother
Actor Song Seung Heon has lost his mother, and the interview for Genie TV’s Monday-Tuesday drama “My Troublesome Star” has also been canceled.
On the 21st of September, Song Seung Heon’s agency King Kong by Starship stated, “Song Seung Heon’s mother passed away today. The interview for ‘ My Troublesome Star’ that was scheduled for the 25th has been inevitably canceled. We ask for your understanding.”
Song Seung Heon is currently appearing in “My Troublesome Star” as Dokgo Cheol, a detective and manager who protects top star-turned Bong Cheong Ja (Uhm Jung Hwa). The drama will conclude on the 23rd of September.
Accordingly, Song Seung Heon was originally scheduled to hold a press interview on the 25th to share behind-the-scenes stories of the drama.
It was reported that Song Seung Heon’s mother, Moon Myung Ok, passed away that day at the age of 77. His agency stated, “All funeral procedures will be carried out privately. We ask for warm condolences for Mr. Song Seung Heon and his family.”
The mortuary has been set up at Samsung Seoul Hospital Funeral Hall, Room 17. The funeral will be held on the 23rd at 9:30 a.m., with the first burial at Seoul Memorial Park and the second at Bukhan River Park.
