Actors Jung Kyung Ho (43) and Choi Soo Young (36) have broken up after 14 years of public dating.

According to MyDaily’s report on the 9th of June, Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young recently grew apart due to their increasingly busy schedules and naturally ended their relationship. A source close to the two shared, “Jung Kyung Ho, who is constantly working on projects, and Choi Soo Young, who has been active between Korea and Japan, became too busy to meet often and recently decided to end their romantic relationship.”

Jung Kyung Ho and Choi Soo Young were considered one of the entertainment industry’s most long-lasting couples. The two are alumni of Chung-Ang University’s Department of Theater and Film and first met at church before developing into a couple in September 2012. Although they maintained a beautiful relationship for 14 years, they now plan to return to their respective lives and focus on their careers.

On the same day, a representative from Choi Soo Young’s agency, Saram Entertainment, also confirmed, “It is true that the two have broken up.” Jung Kyung Ho’s agency also confirmed in a statement writing, “It is true that the two have broken up. They have decided to remain good colleagues.”

Jung Kyung Ho debuted in 2003 as part of KBS’s 20th class of open recruitment actors and has appeared in dramas including ‘I’m Sorry, I Love You,’ ‘Time Between Dog and Wolf,’ ‘Smile, You,’ ‘Falling for Innocence,’ ‘Missing 9,’ ‘Prison Playbook,’ ‘Life on Mars,’ and ‘Crash Course in Romance.’ He is currently filming the ENA romantic comedy ‘Romance That Tempts.’

Choi Soo Young debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007 and has also pursued an acting career, appearing in dramas such as ‘My Spring Days,’ ‘Squad 38,’ ‘Man Who Sets the Table,’ ‘Run On,’ and ‘Not Others.’ She is preparing to film the new KBS2 weekend drama ‘I Went to School,’ which is scheduled to air next year.
