Sulli’s Older Brother Demands A Response From Kim Soo Hyun And His Cousin Regarding Her Bed Scene In The 2017 Movie “Real”
The late Sulli’s family has spoken out demanding answers from Kim Soo Hyun regarding the 2017 highly controversial movie “Real.”
According to a report by Sports Kyunghyang on the 28th of March, Sulli’s older brother, referred to as A, stated, “For the past six years, I have spent time in deep sorrow and tears, but thanks to the support and consideration of many people, I have felt gratitude.”
A, based on testimonies from staff and actors at Sulli’s funeral, demanded statements from Kim Soo Hyun and Irobe, saying, “I heard that Sulli and Kim Soo Hyun’s bed scene was not specifically mentioned in the script.”
A added, “I found out that there was a body double for Sulli’s nude scene on set,” and questioned why they did not use a double but instead persuaded Sulli to film the bed and nude scenes herself. He further stated, “Contrary to the claim that the body double was unable to come due to illness, testimonies from those who attended the funeral indicate that the double was present on set. Please verify this fact.”
A, who said he had heard many things at the funeral, emphasized, “Today, I am only asking three questions based on facts, so I ask for clear answers. After seeing the news of the late Kim Sae Ron’s passing, I could not just overlook it as if nothing had happened. I extend my deepest condolences to Kim Sae Ron’s family, and if needed, I would like to visit them anytime to share in their pain.”
Recently, A sent a letter to the Korea Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, stating that he hoped the late Kim Sae Ron’s family could have some peace, as he had seen YouTuber Lee Jin Ho attacking them instead of acknowledging the truth and offering a sincere apology.
A also conveyed his willingness to visit Kim Sae Ron’s family anytime if they wished, to share in their pain.
Kwon Young Chan, the head of the Korea Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, stated, “Although it is late, I once again offer my sincere condolences to the late Sulli’s family. I also hope that Kim Sae Ron’s family will no longer be humiliated and harassed by malicious comments.”
A has recently been posting critical remarks directed at Kim Soo Hyun. On the same day, he wrote on social media, “Six years since I lost my sister, six years of you playing with her, six years of pain ahead for you—please don’t break too quickly.”
On the 21st, A also referenced allegations of Kim Soo Hyun’s involvement with the late Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor, stating, “My life, your life, everyone’s life is ‘Real.’” He added, “It’s utter darkness.”
As of this writing, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency said they were looking into the situation, no response yet from their side.
Meanwhile, Sulli starred alongside Kim Soo Hyun in the 2017 film “Real.” At the time, a video of their bed scene in “Real” was illegally circulated, sparking controversy. Sulli’s family stated that after appearing in “Real,” she said, “I will never do a movie again,” and suffered from mental distress, for which she received treatment.
