One Of The Most Anticipated Kdramas Of 2026 FINALLY Reveals Premiere Date, “The Remarried Empress” Is Coming Soon
The teaser for “The Remarried Empress” has been unveiled.
Disney+’s “The Remarried Empress” is a grand romance fantasy epic centered on Navier, the perfect empress of the Eastern Empire (played by Shin Min Ah), who is notified of a divorce by Emperor Sovieshu (played by Joo Ji Hoon), who has fallen for the runaway slave Rashta (played by Lee Se Young). Rather than accept the divorce, Navier instead demands approval to remarry Heinrey, the prince of the Western Kingdom (played by Lee Jong Suk), setting the story in motion.
The newly released teaser opens with a sweeping view of the powerful Eastern Empire, capturing an overwhelming scale and a world never seen before. The sight of Empress Shin Min Ah sitting regally with beautiful light behind her, followed by Joo Ji Hoon vowing, “No matter what happens, you are the only wife for me,” shows the once-perfect relationship between the two.
However, cracks begin to form in that once-solid relationship the moment Lee Se Young appears before Joo Ji Hoon. As Joo Ji Hoon falls further for Lee Se Young, who embraces her sudden happiness without hesitation, Shin Min Ah is shown steeling herself while watching the two, hinting at a royal scandal about to spiral out of control. The story then takes a new turn with the arrival of Lee Jong Suk as the Western Kingdom’s prince.
“The Remarried Empress” premieres on Disney+ on November 4th.
