Uhm Ji Won Rushed To Korea For Emergency Surgery After Fracturing Ankle During Japan Trip

Uhm Ji Won has undergone emergency surgery for an ankle fracture.

Recently, actress Uhm Ji Won uploaded a new video to her YouTube channel, and its content surprised fans.

Previously, Uhm Ji Won suffered an ankle fracture during a trip to Japan last month and rushed back to Korea to undergo surgery. The video released today captured the entire process of that event.

Regarding the situation at the time of the accident, Uhm Ji Won shared, “I didn’t get hurt while skiing; it was truly a combination of ten thousand different variables. Somehow, my shoe got caught in a manhole, and while my foot was fixed in place, my ankle twisted, and the bone was completely shattered.”

She shocked viewers by revealing, “Both the large and small bones were broken, and they were literally in pieces.”

After undergoing a major surgery lasting about two hours, Uhm Ji Won shed tears of relief, saying, “I saw the surgery results, and nothing was lacking.” She also conveyed, “You must have been surprised to see me suddenly injured, but I am recovering well, so don’t worry. Next time, I will share my progress as I rapidly recover and go through rehabilitation.”
