Veteran Actor Choi Jung Hoon Passes Away
Actor Choi Jung Hoon has passed away at the age of 83.
According to the industry on the 11th, the deceased passed away due to pneumonia on the 10th.
Born in Anju, Pyongan Province in 1940, Choi graduated from the Department of Theater and Film at Chung-Ang University and debuted as a KBS 1st generation talent in 1961.
He was loved for his role as independence activist Kim Sung-joon in the drama “Yeoro” (1972) and appeared in various works such as “Daemyeong” (1981), “Miro” (1984), and more. Even in the 2000s, he was actively involved in dramas such as “Man of Crisis” (2002), “Land” (2004-2005), “My Man’s Woman” (2007), “Life is Beautiful” (2010), “Scent of a Woman” (2011), and more.
The funeral hall is in Hallym University Sacred Heart. The procession will take place at 9 a.m. on the 12th.
