Netflix’s “When Life Gives You Tangerines” dominates the list of nominations for the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards!
On April 7, the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards revealed its nominees list. The Netflix drama “When Life Gives You Tangerines” received a total of eight nominations at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards. The categories are as follows:
- Best Drama (Broadcast Category)
- Best Actor (Television) – Park Bo Gum
- Best Actress (Television) – IU
- Best Supporting Actor (Television) – Choi Dae Hoon
- Best Supporting Actress (Television) – Yum Hye Ran
- Best New Actress (Television) – Kim Tae Yeon
- Best Director (Television) – Kim Won Seok
- Best Screenplay (Television) – Im Sang Chun
Eligible content includes dramas, entertainment programs, and documentaries aired or released between April 1, 2024, and March 31, 2025, through terrestrial TV, general programming channels, cable, OTT platforms, or web services. For films, Korean feature-length movies released in Korea during the same period were considered. Theater productions performed within the eligibility period were also included.
The process involved a preliminary survey of 60 industry professionals. Final nominees and winners were chosen through strict evaluations conducted by judges representing each field—broadcast, film, and theater.
The 61st Baeksang Arts Awards will be held on May 7, 2025, at COEX D Hall in Seoul and will be broadcast live via JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC4.
