Winners Of The 2024 KBS Drama Awards
The 2024 KBS Drama Awards aired earlier today, let us recap who won an award!
On January11, KBS aired its highly anticipated end-year drama awards. Initially scheduled for late December 2024, the event canceled its red carpet and its broadcast following the Jeju air tragedy. KBS then announced their plans to air it in January.
2024’s ceremony was hosted by Jang Sung Kyu, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, and Moon Sang Min. The MCs paid tribute to the victims of the Jeju crash before the ceremony began.
This year’s Daesang (Grand Prize) nominees were veteran actor Lee Soon Jae, Ji Hyun Woo and Im Soo Hyang from “Beauty and Mr. Romantic,” Kim Jung Hyun and Park Ji Young from “Iron Family,” and Kim Ha Neul for her performance “Nothing Uncovered.” Eventually, actor Lee Soon Jae ended up receiving the award.
Interestingly, this year marks the 1st year in KBS drama history where a dog and a person won best couple award.
