Actor Yeo Jin Goo Is Enlisting In The Military, Shares Sweet Letter With Fans

Actor Yeo Jin Goo has personally announced his military enlistment.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Yeo Jin Goo’s debut, and he is currently holding a special Asia fan meeting tour. At the end of each fan meeting performance, he has been delivering letters directly to fans, and in one of these letters, he mentioned his enlistment.

He said, “As I am writing this letter, in my heart there is gratitude, excitement, and also regret all mixed together. The time is approaching for me to leave your side for a while and have a new experience. Before enlisting, I was able to go on the Asia tour, see your faces, make eye contact, and laugh together. All those moments will remain as truly precious memories for me.”

He also said, “Thanks to the warm love and support you have given me, I was able to feel great comfort and passionate energy, and I could keep moving forward without getting exhausted.”

Yeo Jin Goo also shared his mindset ahead of enlistment: “While I am apart from you, I will return as a stronger and more mature person. By the way, don’t be too sad!! You have 30 dramas, variety shows, and 20 movies to remember Yeo Jin Goo by (right… right…?).”

He also asked fans, “When you think of me, please binge-watch them and wait (you will… wait, right…?) thank you. On the day we meet again, I will come back in an even cooler way.”

Yeo Jin Goo, born in 1997, is 28 years old this year. He is scheduled to hold a fan meeting in Seoul on November 1.
