Yoo Seung Ho Gets Into His 1st Dating Rumors In 26 Years Of Career, But Revealed To Have Broken Up Recently
Actor Yoo Seung Ho (33) and actress Lim Se Joo (35) have been confirmed to have recently broken up after dating for 6 years, and attention is also turning to Lim Se Joo.
On October 8, Yoo Seung Ho’s agency told Tenasia about his relationship with Lim Se Joo, saying, “The two actors were a couple, but they have since broken up and are now on good terms as colleagues.” Earlier on October 8, Edaily had reported that the two had been dating for 6 years.
According to Edaily’s report, the two first formed a connection through the tvN drama “Memorist,” which aired in March 2020. In the drama, Yoo Seung Ho and Lim Se Joo played Dong Baek and Lee Seul Bi, respectively.
Yoo Seung Ho and Lim Se Joo reportedly grew close through the project and became a long-term couple, building their love through acting. The two are said to have quietly continued dating, sharing their relationship only with those close to them.
Because of that, not many people knew about their relationship, but as they continued dating for a long time, the number of people in the entertainment industry who knew about them is said to have gradually grown. They have reportedly spent time together in public places as well, walking Yoo Seung Ho’s dog together around Seogyo-dong in Mapo-gu, Seoul, and enjoying dates around Paju, Gyeonggi Province.
Yoo Seung Ho is a star who began as a child actor. He debuted in 2000 with the MBC drama “Thornfish” and rose to wide recognition in 2002 when he starred in the film “The Way Home.” Since then, Yoo Seung Ho has continued acting in dramas such as “Warrior Baek Dong Soo,” “Revenge Returns,” and “Thinking of the Moon When Flowers Bloom,” films including “The Joseon Magician” and “Seondal: The Man Who Sells the River,” and plays including “Angels in America” and “Killing Caesar.”
Lim Se Joo began her entertainment career as a singer. She took part in the OSTs for the 2008 MBC drama “Beethoven Virus” and the 2009 KBS drama “Invincible Lee Pyung Kang,” then officially debuted as a singer in 2011. In 2012, under the stage name Haeora, she sang “Moonlight Is Setting,” an OST for MBC’s “The Moon That Embraces the Sun.” She later also appeared on music variety shows including Mnet’s “I Can See Your Voice” and KBS2’s “Immortal Songs.”
She expanded into acting in 2014. After her acting debut, she appeared in numerous works including the films “Salut d’Amour” and “Watching,” and the dramas “Strange Family,” “Woman with a Suitcase,” “Our Gab Soon,” “My Golden Life,” “My Only One,” “Dear Citizens,” “Zombie Detective,” “A Killer Paradox,” and “Riding Life.”
