Famous Korean Actor Reveals He Comes From A Wealthy Family
Actor Yoo Yeon Seok has revealed that he comes from a wealthy family on “Pingguego.”
Recently, a video was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Pingguego,” featuring actors Cha Tae Hyun and Yoo Yeon Seok as guests.
When sikhye appeared as a PPL item, Yoo Yeon Seok immediately showed his excitement. He said, “I really love sikhye. My fan club’s name is also Sikhye. On the fan community gallery, they came up with the name ‘Sikhyideul (Kids Who Love Sikhye)’ themselves,” expressing his affection for it.
Yoo Yeon Seok continued, “My family also came up with nicknames for ourselves. You know the movie ‘Dances with Wolves,’ right? In that film, they give each other Native American-style names. My family found that fun, so we made our own names too. My mother would sleep early in the evening but suddenly wake up around 10 or 11 to have a late-night snack, so we called her ‘Rice Eaten at Night.’ My father liked to drink a bit, so his name was ‘Professor Who Drinks Soju,’” he said. Yoo Jae Suk added, “Your father is actually a professor.”
Yoo Yeon Seok’s father is known to be an engineering professor, and his mother is a former painter. He also graduated from one of Gangnam’s prestigious “8 School Districts.” His older brother is said to be a math instructor.
Yoo Yeon Seok added, “At that time, my brother had broken his leg, so his name was ‘Standing with Crutches,’ and since I loved sikhye so much, mine was ‘Fell Over Drinking Sikhye,’” making everyone laugh.
