Kyeong-Nam finds out about what Mi Rae has been doing and sees Yeong Il, he’s kinda spooked by it too. She finds out and tries to explain it means nothing and explains she was asked to review the product by the PD and thats why she did it. He feels upset but says its ok and leaves.
Mi Rae tries to asks Yeong Il how Kyeong-Nam felt seeing him and he says he felt as if he’s seen a ghost. As she goes to work, Writer Yun finds out she’s being fired and makes a scene, then, she takes out the character’s poster on her way out and as Mi Rae helps her, it snaps in half.
Mi Rae runs into him later at the elevator and asks if he’s ok touching his face, he feels conflicted and says its fine she explained it. He doesn’t immediately reply back to her texts and they both feel distant from each other.
Writer Yun tries to sell her boyfriend on demand bundle but chickens out at the last minute and goes back to her virtual boyfriend asking her why he likes her. He says he likes it if she’s happy and what not and that its all that matters.
Mi Rae discusses with her boss about the firing of Writer Yun and manages to make him put her on hiatus instead.
The air between the couple is still awkward and Mi Rae again consults Yeong Il who says they should put them in a situation where they can confirm if he truly likes her still. She shows up to work wearing an amazing outfit but so does he for an interview which goes nowhere.
The next day she decides to leave her heart back home and act confident and nonchalant. Kyeong-Nam has a meeting with the PD behind the boyfriend on demand. He explains the project of Yeong Il and how despite being the perfect boyfriend it breaks the immersion for some users since the ending is known.
As Kyeong-Nam discusses with Hwany in the car about this topic, Hwany says he’ll always be a cut above the virtual boyfriend because he’s real and is the one who really likes her. Kyeong-Nam decides to go see Mi Rae and express his true feelings.
He runs to her as she’s at a cafe and the couple kisses. They made up.
PD Min meets up with Ji-Yeon and falls for her instantly. He hands in his business card for her.
The award show is held and Mi rae will work with another writer. The couple run into each other at a room and Kyeong-Nam asks why she doesn’t want to reveal they’re dating, as they’re flirting in the room, their coworker comes in and Mi Rae in a rush pushes Kyeong-Nam and stuff falls on him. He’s rushed to emergency and hurt his arm a bit. She cries the entire way and hugs him in front of their coworker who is stunned.
The couple is invited to a team dinner and the coworker does spill they’re dating but as they’re about to confirm it, everyone laughs saying its impossible. Writers Yun and Hwany show up and celebrate Mr. Hwang leaving overseas.
Mi Rae visits Yeong Il one last time to tell him things worked out, she bids him goodbye and he goes away.
Mi Rae is running to a date with Kyeong-Nam who tells her not to run, the couple walk hand in hand at a park together. IN voiceover, Mi rae says even if relationships are dangerous, its fine, because its them.
