Shin-Jae gets into the company’s offices and servers with the help of Dong Je. She manages to install something and makes a run for it. She enters an elevator and Baek Tae-Ju catches her. He wonders if she’s just like everybody else and she tells him his methods are wrong and he’s a horrible person for it. He eventually knocks her out and locks her up in the server room.
Dong Je makes a run for it and tells the others. They make moves to get to her and help her. Yoon Ra-Young attends Baek Tae-Ju’s conference and she’s told her friend is locked up and he has a button to a gas that will leak if she says anything and kill her.
Gu Seon-Kyu makes it to the room and begins rescuing her. Yoon Ra-Young gets up and exposes Tae Ju who immediately presses the button to kill her friend. At the same time, he gets exposed for his horrible deeds and his incriminating recordings get blasted at the event.
He then makes a run for it and destroys all the data of his company. He’s never seen again.
Eventually, his empire comes crashing down with the press surrounding him and Shin-Jae gets rescued by Seon-Kyu. She wakes up first but Seon-Kyu remains in the ICU due to the ordeal.
Ra-Young goes back to see her daughter and talk to her. Min-Seo says she will turn herself in. The two share one last night together and sleep on the floor. Min-Seo says she wants to see whats after that hatred she feels. She cries talking about how broken she is but her mom assures her its ok since they survived and are here.
Seon-Kyu finally wakes up. Hyun-Jin cries happy tears. Shin-Jae then meets with her mom as her arrest warrant is issued, she wants to take on Haeil and rescue it from what happened.
3 months later
Shin-Jae gets called to identify Baek Tae-Ju’s body. He’s presumed to be dead in an incident.
As Ra-Young defends her client in a prostitution case, he gets handed a fine and she takes to TV appearances to clarify why they need harsher laws.
Shin-Jae is drained taking care of the company and Kwon Jung-Hyun shows up. He reveals her company is getting sued in a class action lawsuit related to Connect In. He tells her to give up her seat and give him the company or he’ll bury her in lawsuits. She refuses and he leaves promising they’ll talk once it gets very serious for her.
Meanwhile, a mysterious woman meets with an influencer and invites her to an exclusive party for VVIPs.
Seon-Kyu hands Hyun-Jin the divorce papers and she refuses to get a divorce, so they just agree to let it go.
Ra-Young continues to visit jail to see Min-Seo weekly and send her letters. Min-seo is still as harsh as ever towards her but her mom promises to always visit her and be there for her.
The three friends gather at night to discuss work and eat, then, the same influencer who was scouted for that big VVIP event shows up battered and scared. The women come to her aid and sit her down as she begins to tell her story.

Not really. Its a mixed ending. On one hand, some of the people were held accountable for their actions, on the other, some got away with slaps on the wrist for their horrible actions.
