The hit drama “The Judge Returns” has concluded its run earlier today with its finale airing on February 14. Lets talk about the last episode and recap the ending!

Han-Young is on the run. Jeong-Ho brings him supplies to help him out. Na-Yeon goes to various people in his circle, including his parents, to tell them he didn’t call the Justice Minister Nominee Woo.

Se-Hee gets back to her place drunk. Her dad called on her and tells her to leave to the U.S. She surprisingly agrees. Sin Jin asked Han-Young to track him down but the entire team has trouble with it.

The next day, members of the Suojae committee all meet up and get evidence of their crimes sent to their phones. Sin Jin shows up and tells them to trust him and follow him or else he’ll expose them. He says he can even bring down the president-elect if he wishes to.

After leaving the place, Han-young and Jin-A follow him around but get stopped by police he called on them. Yoon-Hyeok gets handed a lot of files about corruption of rich people and is told to hide it until this blows over.

Sin Jin wears a mustache and visits Park Gwang-To who says he already handed information to the prosecution on him. Sin Jin says he can still turn things around so Park agrees and gives him access to a slush fund worth over 30 billion won. He figures out that Sin Jin has dirt on the president elect too.

Sin Jin then goes to the prosecution and aims to ‘clear up misunderstandings.’ as he eats and awaits, we find out that he had ordered Park to be killed and with him out of the way, Sin Jin goes outside and is left unscathed. He is now the only man who can control the Suojae members.

After searching Park’s cell following his death, they find a talisman and a drawing inside of it. They trace it back to his place and recover a USB with details on several Suojae members crimes. The prosecution moves to arrest everyone.

Sin Jin sees this and is unimpressed. He is on a call with Han-young and says he can even threaten the president-elect and says he’ll return to his place. Han-young immediately suspects that he will try to leave the country.

Sin-jin visits the restaurant he grew up eating in. As he leaves, the ahjumma tells him of a man who can help him leave Korea. As he goes to the place and gives the man the money, the entire group jumps him and try to take money from him. Han-young shows up to help him and eventually, Jeong-Ho shows up too. He gets arrested.

As the final trial proceeds, Sin-jin requests for it to be broadcasted live. The prosecution requests capital punishment and as he’s about to be handed the sentence, Sin-jin goes on and on about how what he did was a sacrifice for the better good. Han-young says only famine and crime awaited the people in the future with his logic. He hands him the death sentence.

Han-young then invites Jin-a for dinner and she explains the backstory of what happened to her to his parents. They understand and are happy she’s grown up to a prosecutor.

As time goes by we find out that Se-Hee is now studying to become a lawyer and left the duties of the company to a board because she couldn’t do it. Han-young drops by to give her juice and see how she’s doing from afar.

We also find out that Na-Yeon left her job and wants to open her own site. Han-young visits Sin-jin in jail with dumplings and tells him the restaurant is doing well.

For the final scene, Han-young leaves the prison and wonders if this means its now done and he’s paid for his past crimes. He meets up with his friends at a restaurant and everyone is happy to see him. Meanwhile, Sin-jin goes to the yard in prison, gets handed a phone as a new man assumes the role of the leader of Suojae.
