Plot: The series is about a trauma surgeon who joins a university hospital’s struggling trauma team, often considered a “thorn in the side” due to its financial losses despite saving lives. Baek Kang Hyuk transforms the barely functioning trauma team into a real, life-saving critical trauma center.
The drama is based on the web novel “Critical Trauma Center: Golden Hour” by ENT specialist Han Sani (pen name), which was inspired by Professor Lee Guk Jong of Ajou University Medical School and his memoir, “Golden Hour.”
