According to News1’s August 6 report, RIIZE’s Wonbin has recently been selected as a joint advertising model for an online brokerage platform company, following actor Won Bin. The two are reportedly set to be active as models for the same brand.

The “meeting of the two Wonbins” has generated buzz both within the industry and among the public. That’s because two figures both nicknamed the “epitome of handsome” in their respective fields — actor Won Bin, who has held an unrivaled presence as one of Korea’s most iconic handsome actors for years, and RIIZE’s Wonbin, an idol who drew attention for his flawless visuals from the moment he debuted — are now reported to be working together as models for the same brand.

Won Bin debuted in 1997 and has been considered a “living legend” of good looks for nearly 30 years, while RIIZE’s Wonbin, who debuted in 2023, has been rising as a leading K-pop star as RIIZE’s center. The two “Wonbins,” each representing a different era, are expected to create a fresh synergy if they do end up appearing together under one brand.
