ADOR Issues Response To The Content Certification Notice By NewJeans
Ador has issued a statement regarding the content certification notice sent by their artist NewJeans.
On the 14th of November, Ador stated, “We received the content certification notice this morning and are currently reviewing it to understand the specific requests. We will do our utmost to resolve this matter wisely and continue working with the artist.”
Additionally, regarding rumors that NewJeans member Hyein’s uncle was set to be appointed as a new director of the KOSDAQ-listed company Davolink, only to have his appointment canceled following former Ador CEO Min Hee Jin’s denial of investment rumors, they said, “In response to questions about the involvement of a relative of a NewJeans member and whether Director Min met with the company, Director Min once again clarified that these claims are baseless.”
On the 13th of November, NewJeans sent a content certification notice to Ador demanding strict action regarding inappropriate mentions of NewJeans in internal HYBE documents, an apology from the manager who told juniors to ignore Hanni and Min Hee Jin’s return.
NewJeans gave a two-week ultimatum, stating they would terminate their exclusive contract if the requests were not met.
