All Of The fromis_9 Members Depart PLEDIS Entertainment
The group fromis_9 is ending their exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment.
On November 29, Pledis Entertainment released an official statement announcing the sudden news.
fromis_9 originally debuted in 2018 after forming through Mnet’s audition program Idol School and transitioned to Pledis Entertainment, a HYBE subsidiary, in 2021.
The agency has been criticized for their management of the group. Many fans were surprised by the news but happy they’re leaving.

Hello, This is Pledis Entertainment.
First, we would like to express our gratitude to all fans who have always loved and supported fromis_9.
The exclusive contracts with fromis_9 members (Lee Saerom, Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Roh Jisun, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, and Baek Jiheon) will conclude on December 31. We have spent a considerable amount of time discussing with the members their individual futures and directions, and through mutual and thorough communication, we have agreed to end their exclusive contracts.
Since joining our company in August 2021, fromis_9 has grown as artists loved by many, not only their fandom FLOVER but also global K-pop fans, by showcasing various music such as Talk & Talk, DM, Stay This Way, #menow, and Supersonic. We deeply thank the members of fromis_9 for their relentless efforts over the past seven years, displaying a wide spectrum of diverse charms.
As a token of their gratitude toward FLOVERs, fromis_9 will release a digital fan song on December 23. They will also complete their scheduled activities and conclude their official time as artists under Pledis Entertainment. We sincerely support their future endeavors.
We once again thank all the fans who have stood by fromis_9. We kindly ask for your continued support and love for them in the future.
