ATEEZ Cancels Appearance At K-Pop Festival In Poland
ATEEZ has canceled its appearance at a K-pop festival set to take place in Poland.
ATEEZ’s agency, KQ Entertainment, announced on August 12th that the group’s appearance at “Sound in Colours x K-pop EXPOse” in Poland had been canceled. The agency cited unresolved contractual obligations and logistical issues on the organizers’ side that made it difficult to guarantee a proper performance, adding that the decision was made with the artists’ safety and performance conditions in mind.
The agency apologized to ATINY (the fandom name) for the sudden news and said ticket refunds and related procedures would be announced through the festival organizers.
“Sound in Colours x K-pop EXPOse” is set to take place over two days, on the 15th and 16th (local time), at Tauron Silesia Park in Poland. ATEEZ, iKON, STAYC, Taemin, Suho, and The Wind were among those listed on the lineup, but issues have arisen amid reports that final payments, flights, and accommodations were not properly arranged.
