BABYMONSTER Suffers Dangerous Stage Accident During Taipei Concert, YG Assures Fans “No Serious Injuries”
The BABYMONSTER members experienced a frightening stage accident.
On June 28, “BABYMONSTER” held their world tour concert “HELLO MONSTERS” at the NTSU Arena (Linkou Arena) in Taipei, Taiwan.
During the performance, a stage accident occurred. While the lifting stage was descending, it tilted to one side, and the startled members lowered their bodies and carefully stepped down from the stage.
As footage of the incident spread on YouTube and SNS, fans voiced concerns about the safety of the members.
In response, their agency YG Entertainment told MHN, “There was a miss-operation of the lift, but it was immediately handled on-site,” and added that there were no serious injuries.

Meanwhile, “BABYMONSTER” is set to make a comeback on July 1 with the new song “HOT SAUCE.” They will release a second single in September and a mini album in October. On August 16, they will perform at Japan’s biggest music festival “Summer Sonic,” and will continue their world tour in cities such as Toronto, Seattle, and Oakland throughout August and September.
